Thirteen independent representatives of the geothermal industry from business, ministries and science form the research advisory board of the Geothermal-Alliance Bayern. They support the research project by taking on the following tasks:

  • To network the partners and applicants of the GAB content-related and scientifically as well as with operators of geothermal plants during the project period,
  • to deal with current R&D topics and to develop a research strategy to bundle of all Bavarian research activities,
  • to support the partners and applicants of the GAB in identifying important research areas,
  • to evaluate and select incoming applications for seed funding together with the partners of the GAB and in close coordination with the applicants of the GAB according to the cooperation agreement.
