Geodata management: Student support for potential analysis of EGS

Our two student assistants, Saniya Umurzakova and Amlanjyoti Kalita, are currently providing valuable support to GAB in the area of geodata management.
They are both studying environmental engineering and are working with us on the potential analysis for Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS). To do so, they are linking geophysical data such as 2D and 3D seismic data and drilling data with information on heat demand and licensing law in order to calculate and visualize the potential for deep geothermal energy.
We are delighted to have such committed young talents on our team.
