Felix Schölderle won this year’s Christian-Hecht-Award

In the course of the event Praxisforum Geothermie.Bayern, the Christian-Hecht-Award has been awarded for the 5th time. The prize honors young scientists for their research projects that make a significant contribution to the geothermal use of the Bavarian Molasse Basin or the Upper Rhine Graben. Once more, the award went to a scientist from the Geothermal Alliance of Bavaria. Felix Schölderle is pursuing his doctorate at the Chair of Hydrogeology at the Technical University of Munich in the “long-term” sub-project of the GAB. After the award ceremony he presented his work “Fiber optic monitoring in a deep geothermal production well in the Upper Jurassic aquifer in Southern Germany: results from standstill, under injection conditions and during production” to the audience.
Congratulations to Mr. Schölderle for the award and we wish him good luck for the last phase of his PhD!
